The biggest event in the sports world is going to kickstart soon, Olympic Games, which will take place in Rio this year. Ahead of the games, two of the Indian Olympic contingent ambassadors, Salman Khan and music composer AR Rahman today met the Indian athletes at an event organized by the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) in the capital city, New Delhi.
The event, hosted by the IOA, was to give a send-off to all the Indian athletes who will be participating in the event. Along with the actor, IOA officials were also present. Athletes such as tennis star Sania Mirza, gymnast Dipa Karmakar and others were present at the ceremony. Salman greeted the athletes with best wishes ahead of the Olympics. The actor motivated the contingent by asking them to go to the Games and give their best shot and leave everything else on the almighty. AR Rahman said that sports and music are the two things that unite the nation.
