Udta Punjab flies 'high' - Alia Bhatt celebrates with the film producers!
The astounding success of Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab brought the producers under a roof to celebrate its success. The film has set the cash registers ringing and has raked in a good amount of moolah for the producers.
Phantom Films and Balaji Telefilms came together to collaborate on this project. After facing many hurdles with the Censor Board regarding its content, Udta Punjab was finally released on the 17th of this month.
The film received rave reviews from the critics and also hit the bulls-eye with the audience. Film's star-cast Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh's performances received wide appreciation. However, Alia Bhatt's performance stole the show- Kareena Kapoor even went on to say that Alia deserved a National Film award for her superlative performance. The film has collected more than 50 crores within days of its release.
