Amul's Take on Tanmay's Sachin-Lata Roast is Quite Funny
It is no secret that a short while ago Tanmay Bhat released a video on snapchat. In it, he was seen making fun of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. As expected, this attempted “roast” kind of back-fired and the 28-year-old found himself at the receiving end of some fierce criticism.
A host of stars like Anupam Kher and Riteish Deshmukh ripped apart Tanmay’s actions. However, at the same time, some like Sonam Kapoor actually supported him.
Now, in a humorous developement, Amul has released a cartoon ad highlighting the situation. In the ad, characters modeled on Lata and Sachin are seen alongside the “Amul Girl”. Moreover, the ad carries the witty tagline ‘Joke se Jokhim Tak’. We must say the funny tagline is quite apt and sums up the incident quite well. What do you guys think?
Interestingly, sometime back, Amul had released a funny take on the Sonu Nigam airlines controversy as well.
