Celebs at Sarbjit Premiere
It no secret that that Omung Kumar’s latest directorial venture Sarbjit has become the proverbial talk of B-town courtesy its realistic posters, soulful music and of course captivatingly intense trailer. Moreover, the film has grabbed plenty of eyeballs thanks to its hard-hitting plot which is based on some sensitive real-life events.
Perhaps that is why the recently held premiere screening of Sarbjit proved to be quite a star-studded affair. Several popular names from the industry made their presence felt and wished the cast good luck. Moreover, some of them also spoke about the film and praised the performances.
On a related note, Sarbjit is touted to be a biopic and features the talented Randeep Hooda in the titular role. It revolves around an Indian farmer who is convicted of spying by a Pakistani court. Interestingly, it also features Aishwarya Rai and Richa Chadda in the lead. Ash will be seen playing the role of the protagonist’s sister.
