Bajirao Wins Big at Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards: Bhansali receives the trophy on Ranveer's behalf!
The Mangeshkar family came forward last night to give away the prestigious Dinanath Mangeshkar Awards to the winners.
Asha Bhosle was seen singing her famous songs and entertaining the audience to the fullest. Actor Jeetendra Kapoor was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award this year.
Talented filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali received the award for Ranveer Singh, who won it for his outstanding performance in Bajirao Mastani. As it was reported earlier, Ranveer, who has been busy shooting for Befikre in Paris, was not able to attend the ceremony. He thanked everyone through a video message.
Hindustani classical vocalist Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty and Marathi actor Prashant Damle also received the honours for their respective contribution to the industry.
