It's Here: Sarbjit's 2nd Poster is Out, Randeep, Aishwarya's Look is Captivating
The makers of the much-awaited film, Sarbjit, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Randeep Hooda are out with the film's second poster. While the first poster featured Aishwarya; for the second one we have Randeep in & as Sarabjit Singh. The film revolves around Sarabjit, how he crosses the Indo -Pak border under the influence of high spirits, and gets imprisoned in the Pakistan jail.
In the poster, Randeep is seen as an aged man, who is fading in the shadows, donning a pair of broken spectacles. Aishwarya is seen wearing a worried expression and on a run. Sarbjit, focuses the journey of the protagonist who is vying for justice, spanning over two decades. Aishwarya, who plays Sarabjit's sister, Dalbir Kaur in the film, plays the key instrumental role in fighting for her brother's release from the Pakistan prisons.
Talking about the launch of the second official poster, director Omung Kumar said, “Our first poster has received appreciation and positive feedbacks from the audience and industry. We are hoping that the second poster and other consecutive ones will get similar responses too. The makers are in a plan to unveil a series of 3 posters on their social media platform in the current week."
Based on the true events, the film also stars Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar in key roles. Produced by Pooja Entertainment and Films Ltd, T-Series and Legend Studios Pvt. Ltd, the film will release on May 20. The film is touted to be screened at Cannes Film Festival this year as well.
