On his 51st birthday last month, Aamir Khan stunned fans and the media with his drastic 13kg weight loss on his 51st birthday! Khan, who had been in America for just three weeks, returned sporting a leaner and toned physique. When the journalists asked him how he managed to do so, Khan gave the credit to his eat, sleep and 6-hour workout regime. On an interesting note, Aamir, who weighed over 95 kilos when he left, returned home weighing 82 kilos. The actor is targeting to lose another 10-12 Kgs further.

It took Aamir nearly 3 months to attain the desired body to play the part of a younger wrestler, Mahavir Singh Phogat for his film Dangal. Aamir dedicated every day for nearly 3 months to achieve his weight goals.

The actor would kickstart his day as early as 6 am while in the US and would follow a strict weight loss schedule.

His daily routine would include Aamir venturing into the hilly regions of the state to trek for hours at a stretch; this was followed by cycling, weight exercises, swimming and playing tennis.

A special diet was devised for Aamir during the period which he followed religiously.

Bwoy, you have to admit, Aamir’s journey to weight loss is certainly inspiring!
