When Richa Played a ‘Kushti’ Match with Randeep on the Sets of Sarbjit!
Actress Richa Chadha will be seen portraying the role of Sarabjit Singh’s wife Sukhpreet Kaur in the much-awaited Omung Kumar biopic, Sarbjit. Sukhpreet is one character not known to people but is important.
Starring Randeep Hooda in the titular role, it has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur. The film focuses on the struggle faced by Sarabjit's family to bring him back from the Lahore jail. A major part of the family's struggle had remained hidden from media glare so far.
Recently, during the film’s shoot, Richa was seen playing a kushti match with her onscreen husband, Randeep in an akhaada. In the pic, one can see Richa completely covered in dust, and looks like she gave a tough fight to Hooda.
After all, Richa is a Punjabi and that too from Amritsar, which is popular for its akhadaas and the sport itself!
