Priyanka's Production Banner Begins its First Punjabi Film
It is no secret that Priyanka Chopra has already established herself as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars courtesy her confident personality, strong screen presence and of course vast range as a performer. Moreover, Piggy Chops has also won over a legion of dedicated fans thanks to her flawless style statement and bindass attitude.
Now, it seems that the actress is all set to add another feather to her cap. In an exciting development, the first Punjabi film to be shot under her Purple Pebble Pictures banner went on floors recently. It will be produced by the star’s mother Dr Madhu Chopra.
Furthermore, the Karan Guliani-helmed project will feature Amrinder Gill in the lead. For the uninitiated, Amrinder is one of Punjabi cinema’s most popular actors. Some of his noted films include Daddy Cool Munde Fool and Taur Mittran Di.
Interestingly, Purple Pebbles is also producing a Marathi film tited Ventilator.
On a related note Priyanka has a busy year ahead of her. She will soon be seen in Jai Gangaajal and the second season of Quantico. Moreover, she will soon be making her Hollywood debut with Baywatch.
