Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is currently shooting for Sarbjit, based on the real-life incidents of Sarabjit Singh. Singh, a farmer crossed the India-Pakistan border by a fault and was further mistaken as an Indian spy. He was kept in the jail for 23 years in Pakistan until he was killed by the inmates. Randeep Hooda is playing the titular role in the film. Aishwarya will be essaying the role his sister, Dalbir Kaur, who fought for years for his brother's release.
The film is currently being shot in Punjab, and Aishwarya was recently spotted at Attari border with the BSF jawans. The gorgeous actress was seen clicking selfie with the jawans and looked radiant while posing for the pictures.
Directed by Omung Kumar, Sarbjit also stars Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on May 19.
