First Look: Aishwarya And Randeep Look Intense In The Sarabjit Biopic!

Here it is! The much awaited 'first look' of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda is revealed and it looks quite interesting! Aishwarya, who plays Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur, is seen in a salwar kameez, sporting a heart-wrenchingly sad expression.  It looks like she is penning a diary, a sad story of her brother perhaps. The film will be narrated through the perspective of Dalbir Kaur aka Aishwarya Rai. The movie is set to release on May 19th.

Randeep is seen portraying the young Sarabjit in the picture. Singh, was an Indian national convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court. After a brief trial in the Lahore High Court he was condemned and sentenced to death in 1991, but the sentence was repeatedly postponed by the Government of Pakistan. While in prison in April 2013, he was attacked by fellow inmates and died six days later at Jinnah Hospital, Lahore. 

The movie is being directed by Omung Kumar.
