Vir Das Looks Urecognisable as an Old Sikh in 31st October
Vir Das, who was last seen in the recently released adult-comedy Mastizaade, could very well be on the verge of adding a new dimension to his career. In an exciting development, the actor recently took to Twitter and revealed the look he will be sporting in his next big screen outing 31st October.
Touted as political-thriller, it features Vir in the role of an old Sikh named Devender Singh who survived the riots which rocked the nation in 1984. We must say that the 36-year-old is almost unrecognizable in his new getup. Now, that’s what we call experimenting with one’s onscreen image!
Interestingly, till now, Vir has stuck to comedy films such as Amit Sahni Ki List and Shaadi Ke Side Effects to name a few. As such, 31st October—which deals with a sensitive subject—could go a long way in helping him explore his range as a performer and give strong proof of his abilities.
