Deliciously Cute! Farah Names New Members of Her Family Gulab-Jamun
Farah Khan, who has been keeping a rather low profile of late, is finally back in the limelight and that too for an extremely cute reason. As it so happens, the noted filmmaker recently adopted two puppies through a noted NGO. Moreover, in a quirky development, she named them “Gulab” and “Jamun. Now that’s what we call a keen and delicious sense of humour.
"They're a brother-sister pair, I couldn't think of separating them. They re brown and black and we wanted Indian names”, said Farah explaining her decision.
Interestingly, it appears that the director’s daughter Anya, who is an animal lover, played a big role in persuading her to take this step. Moreover, the mother-daughter duo had been visiting adoption centres for two years. We are glad that their search has finally come to an end.
On the professional front, Farah had last wielded the microphone for the SRK starrer Happy New Year. Touted as a comedy, it fared well at the box office.
