Rekha Conferred with Yash Chopra Memorial Award

Actress Rekha was honoured with the 3rd National Yash Chopra Memorial Award yesterday evening in Mumbai for her contribution to the film industry.Dressed in a gorgeous golden Kanjeevaram Saree, Rekha looked ethereal as she humbly accepted the award.
The award has been instituted by the T.S.R. Foundation of T Subbarami Reddy in the memory of the producer-director, who died in 2012. The Foundation annually honours a distinguished senior film personality for outstanding contribution to film industry with a Gold Medal and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh.
Rekha will be given the honour on February 2, 2017 by the Governor of Maharashtra in a ceremony in Mumbai. The previous recipients of this award include Nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar and megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
