Look: First Poster of ‘Aligarh’ starring Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkummar Rao is out!

The National Award winning director, Hansal Mehta, today took to twitter and shared the first poster of his next film, Aligarh. Starring the talented Manoj Bajpayee and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, the film is based on the real-life incidents of Dr. Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras. Siras was the professor of Marathi at the Aligarh Muslim University who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. After successfully appealing his suspension, he died in suspicious circumstances. Manoj Bajpai will be seen essaying the role of Siras and Rajkummar Rao will play a journalist in the film.

The film was largely shot in Bareilly, Agra Uttar Pradesh and is slated to release on Feb 26.
