Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur starrer Airlift is currently riding high on the success at the box office. The film, which released on Jan 22, is going strong at the ticket window and is likely to emerge as the first hit of 2016. The team Airlift today celebrated the film’s successful run by holding a media interaction.
Dressed in their casual best, Akki and Nimrat were all smiles for the shutterbugs, enjoying the success of their recent release.
Directed by Raja Menon, the film is based on true events. It shows the biggest civil operation of the evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war in 1990.
