She is known to the world as the 'Hijack Heroine.'Neerja Bhanot, the 23-year-old senior flight attendant, sacrificed her life to save the passengers on the Pan Am hijacked flight in 1986. Helmed by director Ram Madhvani starring Sonam Kapoor, the audiences will get to see the courageous story of Ms. Bhanot in the film titled Neerja.
However, not known to many, Neerja was also a model alongside pursuing her career as an air hostess. With the girl-next-door look, she has appeared in several TV commercials and print ads.
