Jaya Bachchan and Rekha Hug it Out at the Star Screen Awards
Jaya Bachchan is clicked here with old rival Rekha at the Star Screen Award ceremony. Both the ladies were seated next to each other. They were cordial and warm towards each other and also greeted one another with a hug. Isn't that cute?
The two power house actresses were arch rivals once upon a time. They starred together in the movie Silsila in 1981. The movie, which featured Amitabh Bachchan as the main lead, was said to be based on the real life of the trio. Anyways, all's well now, it seems and about time too!
Rekha was to feature in the Abhishek Kapoor movie Fitoor. However, things did not work out for the diva on this front and Tabu ended up doing the role instead.
Also seen here is Deepika Padukone, who was seated next to the ladies.
