The first look of Sonam Kapoor's Neerja is out!

With carving an aeroplane on the letter A and having a blue sky in its backdrop, the first look of Ram Madhvani’s Neerja that released today gives us an insight about the movie's storyline.

Starring Sonam Kapoor to step into the shoes of Neerja Bhanot, a 23 year old airhostess, who gave up her life trying to save the lives of 379 hijacked passengers on PanAm flight in Karachi in 1986, the movie is considered to be one of the toughest challenges for any actress.

Flight attendant Neerja Bhanot was honoured with India's highest civilian award for bravery, The Ashok Chakra and was became the youngest recipient for it. Pakistan, too bestowed the prestigious Tamgha-e-Insaaniyat Award to Neerja for showing incredible human kindness during the hijack.

All set to be released on Feb 19, next year, the movie is being produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged. It shall also mark the debut of music composer cum singer, Shekhar Ravjiani from the Vishal-Shekhar duo, who shall be seen portraying an vital role in the movie.
