Twinkle Khanna Paints Trees For a Cause
We know that Twinkle Khanna is an author and a columnist. In her most recent column, Twinkle had written about how she has taken up the cause of painting trees to draw attention to their 'dying' state and also to increase awareness about the dying greenery of the country.

Twinkle had written, "We paint stumps to bring awareness to the fact that these venerable trees are dying as they are not being looked after adequately. We need to plant more trees and save the trees that are still alive and for that we require funds and donors who will help us buy insecticide to protect the trees that have mealybug infestations, and make embankments around trees so that they can breathe and help us breathe at the same time. We are also turning the stumps into murals to give our city a little bit of a facelift though by the time we actually finish painting all the trees on our list, we may all need a facelift as well. If you wish to help our cause, please go to the Rastaa Chaap Facebook page and contact us. Thank you for asking Auntyji."
