Tabu, Imran, Akshara & others attend Asiavision Movie Awards!
The 10th edition of the Asiavision Movie Awards saw a glittering event attended by many stars from Bollywood including Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Imran Khan, Akshara Haasan and ace director Shyam Benegal.
While Tabu won the award for 'Outstanding performance' for her work in 'Drishyam', Akshara Haasan bagged the 'Most Promising Newcomer of the Year' for her debut film 'Shamitabh'. Rana Daggubati won the award for 'Best Performer of the Year' for his work in the epic 'Baahubali'. Child star Harshaali Malhotra was also present at the ceremony and won accolades for her role in 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' while Jackie Shroff won an award for 'Brothers'. A dapper looking Imran Khan was adjudged as the 'Youth Icon' of India.
Director Shyam Benegal was honoured with the lifetime achievement award at the ceremony.
The ceremony was held at Al Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah (UAE).
