EXCLUSIVE: This time "I" treated my parents on my birthday: Athiya Shetty
Suneil Shetty's daughter Athiya Shetty is experiencing the joys of being an independent, working girl. Athiya debuted in Bollywood with the movie HERO produced by Salman Khan. Though the movie did not do great guns at the box office, Athiya was appreciated for her debut performance. The young actress talked to us about her first 'starry' birthday celebrations.
She said, "I was surrounded by so much love and happiness! I went to my nani's NGO Save the Children and cut a cake with them, and fed them all my favourite foods. It was a really special day. I took my parents out to lunch. I treated them this time, which was another special thing. I also hung out with my friends. So I had a very special day."
When asked about her co-star Sooraj Pancholi's cute wish for her, Athiya said "We are both Scorpios, that's why we get along so well" When asked if she will celebrate her birthday along with Sooraj, who also rings in his birthday on Monday, Athiya said, "Haha I don't like to party..."
