Aamir, Karan and Jaya Bachchan at Twinkle Khanna's book launch
Twinkle Khanna's book release was a star studdent event in Mumbai today. The lovely wife of Akshay Kumar launched her book 'Mrs Funnybones' in style amidst Bollywood celebs such as Karan Johar, Aamir Khan and Jaya Bachchan. Full of wit and delicious observations, Mrs Funny Bones captures the life of the modern Indian woman. Karan played a rapid fire round with Twinke in his 'Koffee with Karan' style while Aamir praised Twinkle's writing style and wit. Aamir, who has worked with Twinkle in the movie 'Mela' said, "I am happy for her. It is wonderful to see her write as she is highly entertaining and has dry humour. I have come here to wish her on this new journey."
Twinkle thanked all of them for the support and also clicked pictures with them. Jaya Bachchan said that she loves to read Twinkle's columns and that she can't wait to read the book.
Twinkle crafts satirical stories and funny fables when she is not running a design business, selling candles or running in circles around her small but rather odd family. As per her, she narrowly escaped a gruesome tragedy when Bollywood tried to bludgeon her brain to the size of a pea, but she ducked at the right moment and escaped miraculously unharmed. She firmly believes that nothing in life is sacred except laughter.
