3 Years of Tanu Weds Manu Returns: Aanand L Rai shares a photo with R Madhavan from the sets of Zero

Tanu Weds Manu Returns starring R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut in the lead role completes 3 years today. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film is a sequel to Tanu Weds Manu (2011).

Both the films are loved by the audience for its humour and the actors' performances.

After 3 years, Madhavan and Aanand have united again for the film Zero. Zero stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.

R Madhavan will play a special role in the film. He has accompanied SRK, Anushka and Aanand to the US to shoot for the film.

As it is 3 years of TWMR, Rai shared a picture with Madhavan from the sets of Zero. He captioned it, "It’s #3YearsOfTanuWedsManuReturns and feel so happy to shoot with My Maddy our Manu in US for #zero #friendsforever".

Along with Madhavan, Jimmy Shergil will also have a cameo in the film.

About the same, a source told DNA earlier, "Aanand’s Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns feature Madhavan and Jimmy. Now, he has roped them in for small but interesting roles in Zero."

"Jimmy and Madhavan immediately agreed to do it. Maddy is fond of Shah Rukh. So, there were no questions asked," added the source.

In Zero, Shah Rukh Khan plays the role of a vertically challenged man. He is playing a double role in the film. A teaser for the film was released in January this year and has got everyone excited.

Zero is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
