Park Bo-gum, who continues to win hearts with his earnest performance as Sa Hye-joon in tvN Drama's Record of Youth, had enlisted to the military on August 31. It's already been six weeks since his enlistment and the handsome actor has successfully completed his basic military training and will now serve as the cultural promotion soldier for the navy's military band.

According to Allkpop, the 669th Naval Service Completion ceremony was held at the Naval Education and Training Command in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, on October 8. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the completion ceremony was held without any invitations. However, the ceremony was broadcast live on YouTube with Bo-gum walking confidently decked in his navy uniform along with the rest of the trainees. Many believe it was difficult to recognise the 27-year-old actor from the group in his new avatar.

Bo-gum will be discharged from his mandatory military service in April 2022. However, keeping his fans happy, Bo-gum not only completed shooting for Record of Youth before his enlistment but simultaneously shot for two movies as well: Seo Bok and Wonderland.

Speaking of Seo Bok, the movie also stars Gong Yoo of Goblin fame and will see Bo-gum essay the role of mankind's first human clone who everyone has their eyes on to extract the secret for eternal life. On the other hand, Yoo plays an ex-agent of an intelligence agency who protects Bo-gum's character from enemies with evil intentions.

Meanwhile, Record of Youth, which also stars Park So-dam and Byun Woo-seok, comes out with Ep 11 next week on October 12.
