‘MS Dhoni: Not just a name’ ICC pays tribute to former Skipper & says he changed the face of Indian cricket

International Cricket Council (ICC) posted a video as a tribute to MS Dhoni on twitter. In this video we can see the fans and cricketers praising the legendary cricketer for his achievements and his ability to change the fate of Indian cricket. Skipper Virat Kohli and pacer, Jasprit Bumrah were also seen talking about the calming effect of MS Dhoni in the team.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli said that what you see from the outside is very different from how things happen within a person. “MS Dhoni’s greatest skill is how he maintains his composure in the toughest of moments and that’s why he is able to make such good decisions under pressure. He’s always calm, he’s always composed,” Kohli added. He further said that there’s a lot to learn from him and that he’ll always remain his captain. Kohli also added that his understanding with him has been brilliant over the years and the team just loves having him around.

Jasprit Bumrah also said that MS Dhoni has a calming influence on the team and he helps a lot. He also revealed that it was a relief to have him as a captain when made his debut in 2016.

England cricketers, Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler were also heaped in praises for the former Indian skipper.
