In a rather exciting development, Aishwarya Rai was recently spotted shooting for her upcoming film Sarabjit. Directed by Omung Kumar, the film is based on the life of an Indian farmer who was convicted of spying in Pakistan. The movie features the ever dependable Randeep Hooda as the titular character. Interestingly, Aishwarya essays the role of the protagonist’s sister. On a related note, she was last seen in  Jazbaa which proved to be an average grosser . As such it will be worth watching whether Sarabjit is able to help taste commercial success again.
