MAX on why he thinks BTS ARMY should be the CIA: They know everything; They know if you're full of it
MAX, in a recent interview, was all praises for BTS ARMY and his epic relationship with them. Read below to know why the Blueberry Eyes singer thinks the beloved fandom should be the CIA.
Over the past few years, many artists have had the opportunity to collaborate with BTS including Steve Aoki, Halsey, Becky G, Lauv and more recently MAX. Speaking of MAX, the 28-year-old singer collaborated with Suga on not one but two tracks; Burn It for AGUST D's second mixtape D-2 and Blueberry Eyes for MAX's studio album Colour Vision.
BTS ARMY had welcomed MAX with open arms as they realised how authentic his love for BTS is, especially his close friendship with Yoongi. In an interview with MTV, MAX gushed about ARMY sharing how he was introduced to the fandom when Jungkook and Suga would add his songs to their playlists. MAX would then tweet his excitement over BTS hyping his music while ARMY would send sweet 'That's great' messages to him in return. That's how his relationship with ARMY started developing and became more and more constant.
"ARMY should be the CIA. They know everything. They know what's up. They know if you're full of it, and I love that about that fanbase because they are so powerful and yet, they're so welcoming to those who are authentic. Once I revealed that I actually had a song, open arms. It's been incredible," the Love Me Less singer quipped.
MAX also gushed about how ARMY has been so receptive and really respective towards him, especially when he and his darling wife Emily Schneider adorably memorised Suga's Korean rap verse as their renewed wedding vows for Blueberry Eyes MV among different pieces. MAX confessed that it's been so cool to have such a warm welcome.
As for the clever 'meow meow' nod at Yoongi, to include him, with the cat screenshot in Blueberry Eyes MV, MAX shared that he felt even more connected to ARMY, "because they had that little secret nod and they were like, 'How do you know this? You're really one of us. What is this?'"
Like we needed another reason to adore this gentleman!
