Mughda godse FHM Mag and Scans(exclusive interview)
rom a super model to a movie star… how has life changed after Fashion?
Oh, I am learning as I go along. I had not expected such a warm response. When I signed the film, some people warned me, "With Priyanka and Kangana in the film, you don't stand a chance. You are going to be eaten up raw!" So, I was looking at the film more as a learning experience rather than expecting any recognition. However, the reactions have been overwhelming. All three of us have managed to stand out. But this is just the first step. I am trying to stay grounded.
But honestly, glamour world is not all that goody-goody. How are people around you reacting to your success?
Well, there are three reactions. Firstly, there are a few people who are already treating me like a superstar. They think I have arrived. Then there are those who are waiting and watching. Since Fashion was about fashion world, they think this was easy and would like to see me act more before passing a judgment. And then there is the usual *****iness. I have been there and I know how it works. They don't do it on your face, but the moment you turn your back tongues start wagging. Most pretend to look down on Bollywood and say, 'Oh, we don't want to be in the movies any way.' Who are they kidding! Every single one wants to be in the movies. It's just a case of grapes being sour.
Talking about men, tell me what is the one quality that you look for in a man?
One quality, well… (thinks)… that would have to be dignity. I love men who have a certain dignity about them. The way they carry themselves, the way they treat others and themselves. I love dignified men.
It's okay if he is not tall, dark, handsome and rich? Are you telling me money is not important?
Oh, money is important. Believe it or not, when I was a kid, if anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up, I used to say, "I want to be very rich." My mother used to get palpitations thinking what is with this girl and money. But when it comes to guys, I am not saying money is not important. I am saying, for me dignity is more important. I have the money, so he need not have loads of it. But it would be nicer if he has money as well. After all, I don't want a pile-on, right?
