Kang Min Ah aka True Beauty’s Choi Soo Ah opens up about her True Beauty costars, upcoming projects and more
Actress Kang Min Ah shares her experience with her True Beauty co-stars, her career as a child actress and more in an interview with @star1 magazine.
In a beautifully dreamy pictorial/interview with @star1 magazine, actress Kang Min Ah, also known as Choi Soo Ah from Saebom High of True Beauty and Im Jookyung’s best friend revealed how her own personality measured up to her character.
She said that she is about 30% in sync with her character Soo Ah but that the director of the show already had a vision for her to be a popular “insider” of the school who participates in all popular activities and loved and adored because of her lively and vibrant character.
She also shared that the director had set up a way for the actors to meet up and communicate so that they could get to know each other better which would reflect in their relationships on camera. Owing to their age bracket and the fact that they all shared a similar sense of humour aided their chemistry on True Beauty.
Being a child actress, Kang Min Ah admittedly had missed out on a lot of childhood experiences, especially going on school trips. As such, being able to go on a “school trip” once again in True Beauty and revisiting the old days as an adult was a special happy memory for her.
Finally, Kang Min Ah shared that her next project was going to be another webtoon adaptation, “Seen from a Distance, Green Spring” where she will star alongside Park Ji Hoon, former WANNA ONE member and actor and Lee Shin Young, who you might remember from Crash Landing On You.
