Kareena feels she has done enough to prove her potential
She comes from a strong film background, but proved that she is much more than that with her hard work and talent. Making her debut in 2000 with “Refugee”, Kareena Kapoor Khan has given us some memorable performances like “Jab We Met”, “Chameli”, “Heroine” and “Omkara”. And the actress feels she has done enough to prove her potential.
In an interview with , the actress also mentioned that she has been doing commercial movies because she wanted a break.
“Yes, I have been doing only commercially viable films for some time now, maybe because I wanted a break. But I know that many people want to see me in performance-oriented roles, and I am now looking forward to doing them,” Kareena said.
She further added that she wants to work with new directors but will only choose a script which suits her personality.
“I am interested in working with new directors, and look forward to doing something that I have not done in the past. However, I will only choose films that suit my personality. I am not keen to drastically change my career graph. I think I have done enough to prove my potential,” she said.
Kareena and hubby Saif Ali Khan have worked together in movies like “Tashan”, “Kurbaan” and “Agent Vinod”. She said that the failure of the movies had nothing to do with their pairing and they will share the screen-space once there is a spectacular script available.
