Being married to a girl younger than I am, I get a different take: Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan is looking forward to the release of his movie 'Happy Ending'. In an interview with GQ India, Saif seemed to have opened up on many issues close to his heart, including the ancient and heritage library at the Pataudi palace. Also, he did speak of something more closer to his heart, that we especially, found interesting - Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Saif said, "Being married to a girl younger than I am, I get a different take. I don’t get stuck in my place. Sometimes, she says to me ‘That’s over’, and I’m like ‘No it’s not!’ and then I’m like, ‘Oh my god, it is.’ So it’s like having binocular vision… It’s like a Venn diagram. But, I still have to tell her there are certain classic things that I liked when I was 20 and still like in my forties, like The Doors.”
Saif also narrated an incident that occurred when they were in Dubai. "Kareena buying a pair of jeans attracted 2000 people, following us, taking pictures. She just accepts that people are there and forgets about it."
On another interesting note, Saif spoke about the ancient library that he is renovating at the Pataudi palace. Saif said, “I also want to make a library bar. It’s against my mother’s wishes since Pataudi used to be a Muslim state, but come on, we can’t just pretend we don’t drink.
Well, a beautiful begum at your side and a heritage library with a bar, does it get any better than that?
