It feels surreal to romance Katrina after having interviewed her as a VJ: Aditya Roy Kapur
Destiny sure have its delightful sight for some people! Take Aditya Roy Kapur's case for instance! The actor has undoubtedly come a long way. However, not many know that this Aashiqui 2 boy had started his career as a VJ for a then popular music channel. It was then, when he met Katrina Kaif for the first time. Interestingly, Katrina who was an upcoming actress then, had come for her Humko Deewana Kar Gaye film promotion and the guy across the table taking her interview was none other than Aditya Roy Kapur.
Recently at an event, we asked Aditya about his journey with Katrina and he was all smiles. "I feel it's been quite a journey. I didn't know back at that time that I wanted to be an actor. For both of us it's been good 10-11 years since we last did that interview."
On being asked how he felt while romancing her, considering the fact that the two last worked together when both had just started their careers at different levels, he quipped "It feels surreal to now romance Katrina after having interviewed her when I was once a VJ! I didn't have any secret desire to romance her on-screen (laughs), but it feels good acting with her."
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif starrer Fitoor is all set to hit the screens onFebruary 12, 2016.
