The cold war between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan which started seven years ago after an ugly fight on July 16, 2008, at Katrina Kaif's birthday bash, now seems to be over. Since the warring superstars hugged and made up at politician Baba Siddique’s Iftar party, two years ago, their relationship has been gradually on the road of recovery, and now, for quite some time they seem to be thick friends.
Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan not only extended an olive’s branch at Arpita Khan’s wedding celebrations last year but also decided to take their this reconciliation to another level by promoting each other’s movies on social media, and just recently, Shah Rukh promoted his Dilwale on Salman-hosted reality show, Bigg Boss.
With Salman ringing in his 50th year today, Shah Rukh, who has given his arch rival’s birthday celebrations a miss over the last few years, is most likely to attend his big bash this time. When asked what gift he would like to give Salman, SRK said, “I would like to just pray him to be healthy and happy. He has done so much work, he has had some really wonderful ups in his life and some really strong downs. I just wish him that he has happiness for the next 50...100 years that he lives and remains healthy. We always talk about that and we are fortunate that God has given us so much, we are always very thankful and I can always pray that he is happy and healthy.”
