‘Kapil and my role in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon are incomplete without each other’ – Varun Sharma

‘Fukrey’ actor Varun Sharma will be seen in a lawyer’s role in upcoming film ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. The actor speaks exclusively to Pinkvilla.com about his role and bond with Kapil Sharma.

Working with Kapil Sharma

I had a blast working on ‘KKPK’ with Kapil and the team. Being Punjabis, both of us really bonded well. We both kept improvising ourselves at every stage that we went on and on and truly enjoyed shooting with each other. It's been a crazy bunch I must say. He is a great guy and a gem of a person by heart. It was truly amazing. Found a really good friend in him both in reel as well as in real life.

Varun’s character in the film

Well I play a lawyer in the film who helps Kapil sort his life as he has to juggle between his three wives and one girlfriend. So technically I am the one who gives him vague ideas and help him sort the problems he gets into. Basically we both are incomplete without each other..

Fun moments and pranks played on set of ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’

There was not even one day when the sets were boring and no fun... Every day was like a big party as it is a comic film and everyone needs to be in a jovial mood. We would never reharse a scene more than once to make it look impromptu and the comic timing would come perfect with its spontaneity.

Once we were shooting in Rajasthan and it was a big setup with too many people on sets. We went on and on improvising a scene with every take being different from the earlier one and more fun that the crowd went berserk laughing. At one point it got so difficult to roll coz we couldn't get the seriousness to shoot only. Somehow we tried controlling our own giggles and delivered our shots well in place. Even we are waiting to see what has Abaas Mustan Ji put up finally for that particular scene.
