India vs West Indies, ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: Jasprit Bumrah's battle with Chris Gayle to watch out for

Jasprit Bumrah has emerged as one of the brightest and most skilled pacers in the cricketing world in the modern era. With plenty of variations up his sleeve, the Ahmedabad cricketer is one of the most prized assets in India. He displayed his talent with an excellenet spell of fast bowling against Afghanistan, where he emerged as the Man of the Match. With an ability to bowl yorkers consistently, Bumrah will be the key when India take on West Indies at Manchester on Thursday in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

His battle with Chris Gayle, in particular, will be of utmost importance. The big-hitter hates anything that is pitched on the middle stump and moves away from him. This is exactly Bumrah's stock ball. Even if Gayle survives and does not give his wicket away, he will find it hard to score runs off Bumrah upfront. While Gayle believes in teeing off immediately, Bumrah bowls a tight spell  with the new ball, that makes run-scoring hard.

The player that wins this battle will massively influence the result of the game.
