India vs Pakistan: Virat Kohli explains why one should not ask him for match tickets in ICC World Cup 2019
The Indian skipper has advised his friends and other acquaintances to not ask him for the match tickets prior to the game.
The hype and buzz around the India-Pakistan game is unmatchable and is considered the biggest match in the tournament. Fans around the globe had gathered in large numbers for this match to experience this high intense game live in the stadium. The Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester would be filled with the shades of blue and fans would gather to support the Blue Army in large numbers.
However, the Indian skipper clearly stated that one should not ask him for free tickets and he usually advises his friends to watch the game from home. The skipper also revealed that few of his friends wanted to come for the tournament and had asked him prior to the World Cup to watch the game live. He advised his friends that they can come to England if they want but they shouldn’t expect anything from him. He revealed in a pre match press conference prior to the game that he advised his friends to better stay at home and watch the match on their television sets.
He said that the reason he usually avoid providing tickets to people as if you give one then there would be other people coming as well. The players usually get a certain fixed amount of tickets in which they need to accommodate their families as well.
The Indian Skipper would have to fight against both the weather and the Men in Green in the match today.
