India vs Pakistan, Manchester Weather Forecast: Will rain affect the big game at ICC World Cup 2019?

Rain has been the most talked about topic in the entire World Cup 2019 tournament and has resulted into 4 washouts so far in the tournament. However, the biggest clash of the tournament, India vs Pakistan is likely to be predicted to get affected by rain. The fans who are eagerly waiting for this big encounter will keep their fingers crossed.

According to the weather predictions, there will be clouds in Manchester on Sunday. The match is predicted to commence on time; however, light showers are expected in the late afternoon towards the second half of the game. However, according to the ground staff, the weather will generally remain dry over the next two days and there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. However, one must keep their fingers crossed as rain in England is quite unusual at this point.

Gautam Gambhir and Sourav Ganguly blamed the organizers after rain called off the previous game between the Men in Blue and Black Caps.

Speaking on Star Sports, Gambhir said that the ICC can do a lot better and also stated that even though the rain stopped for 2-3 hours in the middle, the match didn’t start. He also said that since rain was anticipated in the past 3 days, the ground should have been covered to avoid the delay due to wet outfield.

Even Ganguly agreed that in a tournament as big as the World Cup and especially in a country like England with frequent rains, these covers on the outfield are extremely important.
