Arch-rivals, India and Pakistan will face each other in the World Cup 2019 tomorrow, i.e. June 16 in Manchester.
Former Pakistani Captain, Wasim Akram urged the fans of both the nations to stay calm ahead of the big clash in the tournament. He also said that India vs Pakistan is the biggest match of the World Cup.
The rivalry between these two nations heats up the entire environment and increases the intensity of the game on the field. However, the former Pakistani cricketer who is in England as a commentator feels that the match should be enjoyed rather than use it to inflame the situation. He said that this match can’t get any bigger.
"India and Pakistan playing at the World Cup with over a billion audience is the biggest thing in cricket, so my message to both sets of fans to enjoy it and stay calm."
"One team will win; one team will lose, so stay graceful and do not take this as a war. Those who project this match as war are not true cricket fans," he added.
The Indian cricket team has defeated Pakistan six times in World Cup tournament dating back to 1992. However, according to Wasim Akram, Pakistan can defeat India through controlled aggression on the field.
He also admitted that despite not having some fond memories of this clash, he has always enjoyed the games between these two nations as fans are glued to their television sets wherever they are. He admitted that Men in Blue have a strong batting line-up but also mentioned that Pakistan can match them and the team that handles the pressure well wins.

"I surely hope that rain stays off. Fans want to watch a full match, intense and lively so we all hope that rain stays away.” He added.
