Afghanistan cricket team that lies at the bottom of the points table will encounter Virat Kohli led Men in Blue team which is currently at the 4th position on the table. However, Afghanistan’s Hashmatullah Shahidi managed to rise up to the occasion even in the most pressure situations and contributed 76 runs to the team’s overall score. He was the highest run-scorer for the team with a strike rate of 76 and provided the team stability after a poor display of the team’s opening. The team will rely highly on this cricketer in order to tackle the likes of Jasprit Bumrah.

Gulbadin Naib- Even though Afghanistan has been struggling with its performance in the tournament in all the departments, Gulbadin Naib possesses the ability to change the team’s bowling fate. In the previous game against the hosts, he managed to claim 3 wickets with an economy of 6.80. In his 10 overs spell, he gave away 63 runs whilst claiming three wickets.
