Pakistani skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmed agrees to the fact that the team was in a better position in the 90's and the table have turned now. The Pakistani skipper also admitted that the team is unable to handle the pressure well, and in matches like this, the team that handles the pressure wins the game. He also said that the Pakistan team of the 90s used to enjoy the upper hand, but India is better than Pakistan now and that’s why they win matches in the tournament.

Sarfaraz Ahmed further added that the whole team is not performing well in all the three departments. However, when you talk about his decision of fielding first, the skipper said that even India’s Virat Kohli said that he would have fielded first as well. The players have not seen the pitch for two days and there was some moisture which made the skipper opt for fielding first. “We won a good toss but didn’t hit the right length,” added Sarfaraz.

When asked about the negative body language of the Pakistani players, the skipper said that even though you guys have seen something in their body language, the players are working hard and are trying their best.

However, the skipper said that the team should try and remain positive and think about winning the next four games in order to bounce back in the tournament.
