Pakistani skipper, Sarfaraz Ahmed issues a warning to his teammates saying that he wouldn’t be the only one to face the consequences. He asked the team to uplift their game in the rest of the matches and bounce back in the tournament. Pakistan currently ranks second last in the points table and has lost 3 out of 5 games played in the tournament and won the one against the hosts.

According to Thenews.com.pk, the Pakistani skipper was quite emotional after the defeat on Sunday against the Men in Blue. Several questions have been raised on his captaincy and the fans are been extremely furious with the below par performances of the team. Sarfaraz also warned his teammates that if anything unfortunate happens in the tournament further then he wouldn’t be the only one going back home.

He asked his teammates to let go of the past and uplift their games and only concentrate on the future matches. The team needs to bounce back to move ahead in the tournament.

Pakistan team has been struggling to make an impact in One Day Internationals for quite a long time now. However, the team will look forward to rectify their mistakes and unite together to win the remaining four games in the league. Pakistan will play its next match against South Africa on June 23 at the iconic Lord’s cricket ground.
