British pro boxer Amir, who is originally from Pakistan, has offered fitness advice to skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and his team after their disastrous run in the Cricket World Cup 2019 so far. The team's fitness levels have been questioned by former cricketers, with Shoaib Akhtar even calling the skipper "mota". 

Amir Khan wants to come to Pakistan's rescue, and wants to train them with regards to their food and diet. The former light-welterweight world champion also hinted at imparting strength and conditioning coaching to the Pakistan Cricket Team. 

Khan, who was raised in Manchester won an Olympic silver for Britain. He wants to avenge Pakistan's loss to India in his next boxing bout that he will take part in - against India's Neera Goyat. 

"Pakistan lost to India today #ICCWorldCup2019 come July 12th I will avenge the loss and knock out Neeraj Goyat on our upcoming fight in #SaudiArabia," had tweeted.


The Indian replied to this tweet and wrote, "keep dreaming." 



Pakistan have won only one game in their five matches in the World Cup thus far and need to win all their remaining games to qualify.
