Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are back! The reel turned real-life couple filmed their first commercial together, since making their relationship public on January 1, 2021. Both the Hallyu actors are brand ambassadors of Smart Communications, a wireless communications company in the Philippines. The plot for the commercial is an adorable ode to their blockbuster drama Crash Landing On You.
The sleek and stylish minute-long commercial features Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin in a futuristic setting. The commercial starts with Hyun Bin driving a fancy, black car, looking slightly tense. As he gets down from the car, one can hear Son Ye Jin saying "What do you do when what you desire is beyond reach." Hyun Bin holds up the phone screen which reads and all of a sudden, we see adorable pictures of the pair from their hit television drama, Crash Landing On You. In another voice-over, Hyun Bin continues, "You use power that breaks barriers." Next, we see a digitalized Son ye Jin on our screen, looking worried. Hyun Bin chases after the digitalized Son Ye Jin until he catches up to her. They smile at one another as Hyun Bin hands Son Ye Jin a flower and she transforms into a real person! The commercial ends with Hyun Bin asking the all-important question, "Do you believe this is possible?" to which Son Ye Jin replies, "I do". The commercial ends with the couple smiling and giggling with one another.
Although the couple filmed the ad before making their relationship public, it still doesn't take away the chemistry and charm, the couple shared in Crash Landing On You.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hyun Bin is currently preparing to film the sequel to Confidential Assignment, while Son Ye Jin is preparing to shoot for her Hollywood film, The Cross.
