WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 Winners List: Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch steal the show in the main event

It was a night to prove themselves as the WWE superstars, headed by Seth Rollins as the Universal Champion went all out during Stomping Grounds 2019. It was a jam-packed night with some exciting bouts and most of the matches surprisingly did not disappoint. Whether it be Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship or even Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. New Day. Even Daniel Bryan and Rowan vs. Heavy Machinery for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles was an exciting match that had the crowd going crazy.

However, the highlight of the night belonged to the main event which saw Seth defend his Universal Championship against Baron Corbin. It surprised everyone, including Rollins, when Baron chose Lacey Evans as the guest referee. She is also Seth's girlfriend and RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch's rival who lost her match against The Man at Stomping Grounds 2019. Lacey was, as expected, an unfair referee who kept changing the rules of the match; from making the rules 'no count-out' to 'no disqualification', slow-counting Seth's attempt to pin Baron to complaining of a sore shoulder as a refusal to count the pin.

It was ultimately Becky's involvement that helped Seth persevere as The Man decimated Evans! Seth finally won and WWE's power couple Brollins took a bow to a thunderous reaction from the WWE Universe:
