WWE Raw: Roman Reigns almost gets run down by a car; Samoa Joe comes to his rescue
After having tons of steel beams pummeling down on him during last week's SmackDown Live, Roman Reigns almost got run down by a car on this week's Monday Night Raw. Check out how Samoa Joe came to the rescue.
Roman Reigns was a victim of a freak accident on last week's SmackDown Live when a ton of steel beams came pummeling down upon him backstage. While the blame was put on an unidentified forklift driver, speculations were rife that Samoa Joe or Daniel Bryan could have been responsible for the same. On this week's Monday Night Raw, Samoa went on a rant about how he is not at all responsible for Roman's accident and felt that he was falsely being blamed for it.
When Samoa found out that Roman was entering the arena, he went after him outside on the parking lot. While Roman parked his car and got out to confront Joe, a Prius came crashing towards his car and Reigns narrowly escaped being terribly injured. He was seen jumping inside his car as the Prius jammed into his. Samoa quickly sprung into action as the unidentified driver whisked away before he could be caught on camera. He was seen helping Roman and calling for help to assist the injured wrestler. Finally, Triple H came outside to speak to Reigns and pacify him.

As per a recent update by WWE, "Roman Reigns was involved in a hit-and-run earlier tonight in the parking lot of Monday Night Raw. He narrowly escaped what could have been a permanent injury but was checked out by WWE medical staff and released to appear tomorrow night in Detroit for SmackDown LIVE."
Because the attacker was driving a Prius and given how Daniel Bryan is all about being eco-friendly, many are pointing fingers at him. We may get the identity of the attacker revealed during this week's SmackDown Live or SummerSlam 2019, which takes place on August 12, 2019.
