WWE RAW Results: Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman are the new Tag Team Champions
Braun Strowman may not have won the United States Championship against AJ Styles on Monday Night Raw, but The Monster Amongst Men won the Raw Tag-Team Championship with The Beastslayer Seth Rollins against The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson). Watch the videos below.
Monday Night Raw was brimming with excitement as the WWE Universe erupted in cheers for Braun Strowman, who was the star of the night. Last week's Raw saw the confirmation of a United States Championship match between Braun and AJ Styles. During the match, Strowman dominated and left AJ in literal no man's zone. The O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) were ringside and tried to distract The Monster Amongst Men. At one point, when Styles went for the phenomenal forearm, he was met with a loud-thumping chop by his opponent. It looked like AJ could lose the title but The O.C. interfered and caused a disqualification.
To repay his debt for last week, Universal Champion Seth Rollins saved the day and cleared the ring by super kicking The O.C. A tag-team main event was set up for the Raw Tag-Team Championships. Rollins and Strowman were put together to face the current champions, The O.C. When the main event came, AJ accompanied Luke and Karl. The Tag-Team Champs perfectly used offense on Seth while Braun was kept at bayside. However, Seth proved why he is the champ and turned the tables.
Finally, the hot tag allowed Strowman to literally massacre the heel trio and finally, with a running powerslam, Strowman and Rollins became the new Raw Tag-Team Champions. The curbstomp on Styles by The Beastslayer was a nice touch, though!
