WWE: Post Royal Rumble 2021 surprise appearance, here's when Seth Rollins will return to SmackDown
This week's SmackDown included the exciting announcement of when Seth Rollins will be returning to the blue brand post his surprise appearance at Royal Rumble 2021 during the Men's Royal Rumble.
Royal Rumble 2021 was indeed a memorable PPV for the WWE Universe, as we didn't only see the returning Edge and Bianca Belair winning the Men's Royal Rumble and Women's Royal Rumble but there were also other epic moments during said matches which had fans pumped up. Amongst the many, it was Seth Rollins' surprise appearance which we absolutely loved.
For the unversed, Rollins was on a paternity break as Becky Lynch and he welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in December. Now, for some exciting news! Seth Rollins is set to appear on SmackDown next week. It was during this week's SmackDown when the happy announcement was shared about The Messiah returning to the blue brand at the February 13 episode (as per India timing). The last time we saw Seth in a SmackDown episode was back in November.
Moreover, Rollins was also a part of Team SmackDown during the 5-on-5 Men's Elimination Match at Survivor Series 2020 along with Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, King Corbin and Otis.
As for his showing at the Men's Royal Rumble, Seth entered the match at No. 29 and proceeded to eliminate Daniel Bryan, Riddle and Christian. While being in the final three, along with Edge and Randy Orton, The Rated-R Superstar eliminated him off the match.
Post his Royal Rumble 2021 appearance, Rollins teased fans with what they can expect from his return through his Instagram caption: "Believe in me like I believe in you. We can be reborn together. #royalrumble @wwe"
