WWE News: Seth Rollins: Brock Lesnar is a terrible champion
Seth Rollins believes that while Brock Lesnar is a phenomenal athlete and performer, he is a terrible champion. The Beastslayer will be facing The Beast at Summerslam 2019 for the Universal Championship.
Wrestlemania 35 saw Seth Rollins finally tame The Beast Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, much to the appreciation of the WWE Universe. For months, Seth did what Brock did not, regularly defend his title. However, at Extreme Rules 2019, after a hard-fought battle against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans with RAW Women's Champion and girlfriend Becky Lynch by his side, Rollins was blindsided by Lesnar as the latter cashed in his MITB briefcase and won the championship from The Beastslayer.
In an interview with Express Sport, Seth got candid about his thoughts on Brock Lesnar as a champion. The wrestler confessed that he felt Brock was worthy of the Universal Champion and that there is no denying what he is capable of in terms of being "an athlete, a performer." However, according to Rollins, the truth is that Lesnar is not a "good champion." Furthermore, Seth pointed out what a good champion does which he believes Brock does none of.

"A champion is someone who is supposed to inspire people, he is supposed to make people appreciate what you do, to love this industry, to want to be a part of this industry as a fan, as a performer or what have you," Rollins shared.
Seth concluded, "So while he is a capable performer, maybe one of the most capable, he is a terrible champion, my opinion."
