WWE News: Goldberg's impressive promo on SmackDown Live about The Undertaker was UNSCRIPTED
In this week's episode of WWE Smackdown Live, Goldberg cut an impressive promo to further drive his upcoming match with The Undertaker at WWE Super ShowDown. But, did you know, Goldberg's promo was unscripted?
This week's episode of WWE Smackdown Live was exciting for the WWE Universe as we saw the return of two legends - Goldberg and The Undertaker. At WWE Super ShowDown, which takes place today, i.e. June 7, 2019, Undertaker will be wrestling Goldberg for the very first time at King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. During Smackdown Live, Goldberg, who isn't known for his mic skills, cut an impressive promo on his upcoming match with The Phenom.
During the promo, Goldberg stated that the family man in him is kept at home and instead, we will be getting the Goldberg we have been watching for 20 years. He vowed that his Super ShowDown opponent will be next to "rest in peace." Goldberg was then interrupted by Undertaker, who stared intensely at his opponent. The lights went out the second time as Undertaker disappeared and then promised that the upcoming match between the two legends is "gonna be a ride."

According to Wrestling Observer Live, it's interesting to note that Goldberg's latest promo was not scripted. Goldberg reportedly has a deal that no one writes his promos and hence, everything coming out of his mouth is his own material.
The fact that Goldberg gets to write his own promos and that Vince McMahon allows him that freedom will surely not go down too well with the current WWE superstars. Common complaints for the wrestlers are the usage of scripted promos and the lack of creative control.
